Three powerful influences shine through the work of Lynn Guenther.
First her apprenticeship with Native American silversmith Little Patty,
which has forstered her gift for figurative design. She learned the
ancient secrets of metal etching, stamping and silver overlay, which
have become her signature techniques.
Her three years in the ateliers and amongst the artist-craftspeople of
Berlin, Germany strengthened her commitment not only to quality
artisanal production but to art work that engages with its community,
and helps that community engage with the world.
More recently Lynn has established her studio in Santa Cruz, California.
Her new work is a spiritual journey that literally builds a bridge
across the world's cultures.
